Boosting the Power of Your Brain
Boosting the power of your brain does require an ongoing effort. There is no fast and easy way to do it. There are however many things you can do to make sure that your brain is being focused on the correct activities. Take these actions and you will begin boosting the power of your brain immediately.
Actions to take
Use more than one or two of your senses- Many time we rely on only a couple of our senses. (Usually what we see and what we hear) If you blocked off these major senses what would happen to your brain?
Your brain must work more intensely to overcome the loss of those senses. Shutting down your major senses can improve your brain power. Try this when you’re eating, or performing simple task like typing.
If you are not doing something, that requires site or hearing. Try blindfolding yourself and using earplugs to block out the sound. While doing this training completely submerge yourself in the experience. Use your sense of, feel, smell, and even taste if possible to enhance your understanding of the way your senses influence your brain. The more time you spend in this training the greater the impact it will have on your brain.
Find different uses for common objects – To get your brain’s juices flowing try this: Think of any object. You can concentrate on (glasses, shoes, chair, garden hose, lampĀ Noocube shade, plant pot, clock, statue, fishing pole, umbrella, and jump rope)
Once you have picked your completely ordinary item, get a pen and paper make a list of things you could use it for other than what it is was made for. Come up with as many completely off the wall things that you can. Try to come up with at least 10 and then see if you can find more. Keep at it till you have exhausted all your creativity. Then pick another object and start all over.
Explore your senses – Today we live in a sight orientated society. People have learned to rely on there sense of sight over all the rest. This can keep your mind from functioning at its full potential. We have five senses and we need to use every one of them to keep our brain at its best. There are many ways this can be done.
Try this, go to a bakery sample treats you haven’t tried before. Let you sense of smell guide you by blindfolding yourself before you make a choice in what to try.
While you are blindfolded at your home have other members of your family bring you objects. Try to identify them by their smell, feel, or shake it to see what you hear.
